Washington Cemetery This predominately Jewish cemetery, which dates from 1850, is to be found in the Mapleton section of Brooklyn. This is where Bay Parkway and McDonald Avenue cross one another; MTA’s F-line runs atop the latter street on its way to Coney Island. One image by Richard Koenig; taken in the spring of 1982.

Washington Cemetery
A while ago I posted a few black and white images from this location, but ran across these color negatives. This amazing cemetery, founded in 1850, lies in between the Mapleton and Midwood section of Brooklyn. It can be found along the F line—which runs above ground here on its way to Coney Island—as well as Bay Parkway.

Bay Parkway Station
This is where the F makes its stops above Washington Cemetery. Again, this is in the Mapleton section of Brooklyn, at the intersection of Bay Parkway and McDonald Avenue.
