Outbound
Here we seen an outbound Rock Island commuter train, headed, eventually, for Joliet. The F7A on point was built in March of 1949.
If one has walked or driven over Roosevelt Road recently, one will know that this view is virtually unrecognizable today. Back in the late-1970s, we are able to clearly take in the Chicago Board of Trade Building, which was built in 1930. In addition to this, one can see the John Hancock Building, at the right edge of the frame.

Chinatown, Chicago
Here are a few shot’s in Chicago’s Chinatown. First we are looking north on South Wentworth Avenue; the next image has us looking across the street from the same spot; and the last shot has the photographer turning to follow the armored car, ending up looking southwest. This is where South Wentworth meets West Alexander Street.

Chicago Avenue
Here are three images taken from Chicago Avenue.
The first was made from near Ashland, in West Town, looking east. The second is from nearly the same spot, but looking west toward Hermitage. And the third is from well west of that, also looking west—at Kedvale, near Humboldt Park.
