do you ever just think about how the vulcans see spock as ‘too human’ and the humans see spock as ‘too vulcan’ but captain james tiberius kirk accepts and loves both of his vulcan and human attributes and encourages spock to embrace both sides and those two actually invented being in love

Star trek is crazy because when it’s trying to be romantic, I find it the most cringe worthy thing in the world, and then Kirk and Spock will have “platonic” lines to each other that are  so earth shatteringly romantic that I want to burst into flames

I want to personally thank every Spirk writer who's ever written an "oops we bonded"

where Spock is like

"Oh no oh my Surak you never wanted this I am so sorry we shall sever the bond post haste I have a healer on speed dial"

and Kirk immediately like

"Hold up, does this mean we're married? Because if so I get a discount on dry cleaning at Starbase 5 and we both have rice cookers so I can get rid of mine- I feel like we should have rings, should we have rings?? I have a ring guy. You know, I've always wanted those monogrammed couples towels? What's your ring size? Nevermind, I'll ask your mother."

Watching Star Trek IV

I started watching Star Trek TOS and really fell in love 🧡

I love the adventure, the characters, the aesthetics, and more 💫

But I think there really is an epic love story between Kirk and Spock, it's so pure and soft that it makes me feel happy and in love 💛💙

Having a normal one

Spock, while deeply, deeply in love with Jim: He would never want me, he is human, and being with a Vulcan would demand too much emotional restraint from him.
