I made my corned beef and cabbage today!!!! A couple days late bc I worked ten hour shifts thursday and friday but I did it! It came out absolutely perfect omg 👌😩💦 I needed it. Last year's didn't go so well if I remember correctly and it ended up being rly disappointing. I was determined to make it good this year and I did dhdkfhkfg self care level 100 😭💖

I should write down a recipe bc once you have the spices/hot sauce laying around its super easy and super cheap- 10 dollars probably gets you all the stuff and it gives you like 10 fucking meals...
They’re not the healthiest meals but its better than straight up instant ramen, I add veggies and the peanut butter adds protien and good fats, and I don’t use more than like 1/3-1/2 of the flavor packet for the peanut sauce so the sodium is cut down by a ton...
ugh- loving good food and being a fucking pro at cooking is a blessing and a curse, because I can whip up really quick stuff that is delicious and I actually dont mind doing it, but also it doesnt make losing weight any easier for me LMAo

Im 27 fucking years old and I only just learned as of last night that if your pan and the oil of your choice isn’t hot enough, the eggs literally just cement to it like nobody’s business and you’re gonna be stuck there scraping hot, semi scrambled egg into a heap while u try to make sure it’s cooked enough to be edible and crying as you think about how much of a bitch its gonna be to wash that pan and how much of a bitch you are at making fried eggs X’D
This morning I tried doing it THE RIGHT WAY and I managed to make ONE perfect fried egg (with runny yolk and everything) and two fucked up looking ones but AT LEAST THEY ARENT STILL STUCK SMEARED ACROSS THE PAN AND SOAKING IN SOAP WATER OVERNIGHT 👍
