for those who missed it, Grim has a growing lump under her right ear. it’s too small to biopsy, so my vet’s decided to take it out in one go and then test it for cancer.

her first blood test results came back, with an elevated liver value. she’s going to be going back in on the 16th for ANOTHER blood test, to see if the elevated liver value is rising or stable - that’ll give my vet a good idea of whether she’s alright to go under anesthesia.

after that, the soonest we could book the surgery is January 5th. I’m a bit nervous because the lump is definitely growing (it’s gone from barely perceivable to pencil-eraser sized 😳), but covid really seems to have impacted the local vet offices, so honestly I’m just grateful that it’s not later!

Grim’s surgery for her possibly-cancerous lump is next week, and it looks like it’ll cost 1.4k in total

I’ll be able to pay for it with my savings no matter what, but if you feel like purchasing something from the shop 😬 this would be a very good time. I’ve got prints, pins, patches, zines, and new stuff added in today!
