Overwhelmed
It was a stressful end to 2014...but here's to a better 2015!
Invisible Worlds Watercolor toning, digital coloring 32” x 40”
A personal project exploring the possibilities of mixing traditional mark making techniques with digital painting. The base drawing is done in pencil, with watercolor washes, and the stars were inked in separately. Then everything was scanned in, composted, and colored digitally.
FINALLY done with this one. Between other projects and tinkering with new techniques, this has been sitting in various states of completion since the beginning of June.
CAN THIS MOVIE JUST COME OUT ALREADY?! This was just a quick fun drawing as I experimented with some new techniques, trying to find a way to blend traditional and digital to get the textured feeling that I like. Pencil on Bristol and Photoshop If I were to offer this as a print, would anyone be interested?
Don't mess with me when I'm with a new book.
