Italian Speaking Pilgrimage at Teopoli: August 11, 2019 Sunday, August 11 – 9:30 a.m. (English)Teopoli 1458 Housey's Rapids Rd., Gravenhurst Since 1977, when a large wooden cross was erected next to the water fall, Teopoli became a center for monthly pilgrimages. These pilgrimages have three strong moments of common prayer: the Mass, the stations of the cross, and the rosary with Eucharistic benediction. This is a day of prayer. Dear Members of the United Society - Società Unita, The 22nd annual “Pilgrimage of Love”, organized by the United Society to support the activities to rebuild Teopoli, will be held from August 3-11, 2019, starting at All Saints Church in Etobicoke and terminating at the Holy Cross of Teopoli, near Gravenhurst. This year the Pilgrimage is dedicated to Sister Carmelina Tarantino, Servant of God. We are inviting you join us on the Pilgrimage this year. The Pilgrimage is an experience you will never forget. It is a spiritual journey of prayer, praise, sacrifice and solidarity. If you are unable to participate, we invite you to be a financial sponsor of this 2019 Pilgrimage that has active participants walking the 200km, or to provide food and supplies for the pilgrims. Providing food, water and supplies for the participants during the Pilgrimage of Love, is a major challenge for our organization. We appeal to your generosity to help us meet these needs by donating to the Pilgrimage as much as you can of any kind of food, beverages or a financial contribution for which an income tax receipt will be issued.  It is only with financial sponsors and the generosity of our members, such as you, that make it possible for the United Society to continue to provide activities and programs, and to re-build Teopoli so future generations can enjoy this special place. The United Society will issue an income-tax receipt for donations of $10.00 or more.  We are grateful to all those who are making sacrifices on behalf of the Mission.
