Madonna della Consolazione

The miraculous image of Our Lady of Consolation in Termini Imerese, Sicily.

It is believed that in the 16th century a paralysed Russian boy living in Termini Imerese was able to walk again after his mother rubbed his legs with oil from the lamp that burned before the image. Since that day people come to pray before the image to ask Mary for healing and consolation.
