if you see a woman driving poorly it’s sexist to assume that it’s because she’s a woman. maybe she’s still learning. maybe she’s doing it on purpose because she’s an asshole. maybe she feels entitled to the road. maybe she’s going to die soon and she had vehicular manslaughter on her bucket list. maybe she has a car crash fetish

sometimes I really do snap myself back into perspective with the realization that I'm a very small fraction of women in the world who have these freedoms in 2024

also including the hundreds to thousands of years generations of women before me. I may be the first woman in many thousands of years in my ancestry to be able to study at a university, have independent income, be openly feminist, write a book, own property, etc.

I saw this on Twitter this morning, it made me laugh not gonna lie... First of all it should be pretty telling of the true's men nature if they suddenly decide they do not want to date you anymore because you do not want to adhere to some stupid standards that do not exist for them. Secondly... Thinking that radfems have a 'cult vibe' for going against beauty/makeup industry when most of magazine won't let you publish articles about how even skin routine can ruin your skin microbiome?

Speaking of makeup industry I'm pretty sure there are a gazillion of articles about it but even without linking some of them I think it's pretty obvious that nobody will ever tell you:-"Hey, we created market based on making women feel insecure, we're inventing new insecurities to sell to them while we're making billions out of it'.

Yes a male sexually harassed me today when I was receiving a service that I paid for BUT because of that sexual harassment I

1) called his boss/the company that was providing the service. The entire customer service office was women and they all came together to tell me I did the right thing and that they were proud of me. Sisterhood grew in that moment

2) I told my mom about it and her and all of her female coworkers talked about it and bonded more with each other and now know that they can confide in one another about these things

3) i did not let it diminish my love and joy and a woman stopped me in a parking lot to tell me basically that and we had a sisterhood bonding moment even as strangers.

Men, even when they think they’re above you, cannot diminish our sisterhood. In fact their attempts to diminish it only grow it stronger and make it more necessary.

all men who go to strip clubs are supporting human trafficking. all men who go to brothels are supporting human trafficking. all men who buy sex are supporting human trafficking. all men who watch porn are supporting human trafficking. it does not matter if they say they are against human trafficking, when it is their money funding it, when they are the ones creating the demand, without them sex trafficking would not exist. all men who support trafficking in any way shape or form need to be held responsible for their violent misogyny that is getting millions of women raped, enslaved and killed.

A woman has XX chromosomes. That is all.

No, it’s not defining me by my biology, not anymore than classifying a redhead as someone who has red hair is defining them by their biology.

It is just a fact about my body.

It does not mean anything, past my body, and societally speaking, my oppression.

Now, something about me that has nothing to do with my femaleness, just as it has nothing to do with the color of my hair…

I do not feel comfortable in “feminine” clothing.

Does this mean I must be… transgender?

Saying so would directly imply two things.

One. Men are uncomfortable in “feminine” clothing.

Two. Women are comfortable in “feminine” clothing.

These are myths.

Hot take: men should not be allowed to be guards or any source of authority in women’s prisons. They should not have power over disadvantaged and desperate women. This sort of power is often abused by men; with sexual, physical, mental, and emotional abuse. These roles of power are attractive to evil men for these exact reasons.

the more i think about aileen wuornos the angrier i get. the narrative about her, even in feminist spaces, is that she killed men who she “thought” would rape her, as if that’s not exactly what they were there to do. the only reason she was ever convicted is because she killed them before they had the chance, because the only acceptable victim is one that shuts up and takes it. if there were a hell, everyone who had a part in her conviction would be there.

No matter how many qualities a man has(rare instance).Deep down i know he still lacks something.

No amount of money,good looks ( rare),intelligence( myth),good sexual skills(rare),resource hoarding and oppressing women will make up for the inherent lack men have.
