Podcast Rec Masterpost

I've been asked a couple times for podcast recommendations so I thought I'd post a compilation of some shows and a bit of info about them. Most shows I talk about are tagged below (I ran out of tags) so you can look through fan content as well if you're not one to care about spoilers. listen to the Vanishing Act for a comedic and occasionally emotional show about an assortment of assholes trying to figure out a vanishing box while evading nazis and the like (2 seasons, possibly ongoing)

i cant write one of these posts without recommending The Fall of the House of Sunshine. An absurdist comedy with the first season being centered around a teeth cult and a detective but it gets crazier after that (3 seasons, complete)

Wooden Overcoats! a fun(n) filled show about two competing funeral homes on a tiny island. all my suggestions are comedy today lol (3 seasons, complete)

might as well continue the comedy theme with Who Killed Avril Lavigne which is a pop punk time traveling show with prophecies and warped tour and it’s a musical with some great songs (1 season, complete)

Here’s a little confidence tactic I like to call “Assertive Conversation by Rudyard Funn”. Pretty much what you have to do is answer every single phone call with the phrase, “Now look here,” in your most indignant voice. You will also need to pepper this phrase into your day to day speech to maintain your image.

Here’s an example:

”hey there! I’m opening a funeral home across from yours!”

your answer: “now look here!” (And then you add what you’d like to say in an angry voice)
