but in susan’s defense:
her brother has pretty much gone off his rocker in her mind. they’ve just adventured into a magical winter land in a wardrobe with no logical explanation for its existence. and now her brother is just casually talking to a beaver like it’s nbd?? like, yeah, why not follow this speaking mammal with a cockney accent into a snowy wasteland? makes sense to me.
okay but the most underrated part of this whole thing is the fact that he’s ready to follow a talking Beaver because a Faun he has never met knows him. Peter’s already certain Tumnus exists. I love this so much. It’s almost like Peter himself doesn’t even realize he’s already all in 😁
