robbie thompson really wrote THAT in 2013 and they AGREED. even if jensen contested it last-minute and they didn't end up filming it (and I get why) at some point showrunner jeremy carver and some higher-ups said "yep! this script is good to film!" and were OKAY with it. it got far enough that they referenced it on the goddamn gag reel. they AGREED to it. they APPROVED it!!!
