This came as a result of Light Novel publishers believing that people don't read the blurbs on the back of the books. So their answer to this was to.... make the blurb the title.

Despite this, however, Light novels with overly long titles have very rarely topped in the best sellers, as the books that sell still tend to sell the best are ones with more traditional short titles.

So of course this trend has no bled over into manga as well because if something bullshit insane marketing scheme is proven to have no real effect other than to confuse and frustrate its consumer you gotta spread that shit to EVERYTHING.

Well I have finally learned something of substance about this mysterious Homestuck

ROUND 1: VRISKA (vriska) VS JESUS OF NAZARETH (bible)

all complaining about "bracketing" here are fools. they do not understand my machinations. yes, this could have been a final battle, but would it have been? either of them could have been killed ten times over before they made it into the finals. there are far stronger opponents each will face along the way. no, i simply could not risk it. i HAD to know. would vriska defeat christianity? would the power of jesus yaoi be enough to topple vriska? your suffering is meaningless here. no, this one was for me.

it has only been a few hours but it is already glorious to watch. many are voting out of love yes. But many are voting because they hate jesus. many are voting because they hate vriska. many hate both but their bloodlust is only reserved for one. i saw one who didnt even know who vriska WAS. could you imagine? the blood has only started to flow and yet i am already seeing the most beautiful arguments for their deaths. i am entranced. this is everything i hoped it would be, and I could never have risked missing it. i have no regrets.

knights need at least a 5x5 enclosure in order to keep their stress levels manageable, and honestly that’s pushing it. 10x10 is a much more humane minimum, and you should allow them more if you can spare it, as knights enjoy “touring” around their enclosures and more space means a longer tour. if you don’t have the space a knight requires, consider adopting a bishop or a rook instead

Hi fun fact, colors do have meaning and there is a legit thing called color theory. The rainbow does have more positive connotations than negative like the @ mintymaiden said. For example, violet is associated with more money, wisdom, and elegance than with blood and death just like the chart shows you. Also, check out "The Designer's Dictionary of Color" by Shaune Addams.
