if a character in a story expresses a political opinion, how would people respond to that because like it’s a character and it doesn’t necessarily reflect with the author thinks im so conflicted
It kind of depends because there’s a big difference between a character having a political opinion and the author using a character as a mouthpiece.
If someone casually mentions something political in the story and it makes sense for the character, that’s one thing. If someone keeps bullhorning it out and is unambiguously portrayed as correct, or something similarly obvious, then it becomes a problem.

I don’t know the exact word in English for it (if it even applies because I am using Swedish grammar reasoning), but this may count as a “conclusion” to a sentence. It might just be a complete sentence, but something in the back of my head is clawing at me, trying to convince me that it is the conclusion to a descriptive statement, and it needs something more before it.
That’s what’s bugging me though since I’ve been using it to end sentences of characters speaking, but MS Word keeps saying that I should change ‘myself’ to ‘me’, which doesn’t work, especially when one of the speakers is a Space Marine Reclusiarch.
It’s because at its core English is still Germanic, and has tried to clumsily restore a reflexive way of referring to oneself that West Germanic decided wasn’t needed for some fucking reason. This is what happens when the dutch try to speak Latin, and vikings try to speak both the bad latin and a mix of Anglic, Costal Saxon, and a sprinkling of Frisian and fail (French, Norman French, and Anglo-Saxon up there).
It’s nothing to do with the root of the language. It’s MS Word being a picky piece of software for no real reason.
Nah, it's a picky piece because it's optimized for clinical papers, where this sort of thing isn't correct, but fails at prose and poetry because the above breakdown as to why it sounds right, is why it's correct in speech.

I remember during the mid 80s there was "white flight"--white people leaving neighborhoods that gained minorities. That was labeled as racist. Today, there's "gentrification"--white people moving into minority neighborhoods is considered racist. Regardless your feelings on gentrification in principle, but it quite looks to me that white people are literally damned if they do, damned if they don't.
