The madman
Things get so intense by the end, even knowing the ending I couldn't go to sleep before finishing the last page. So that day I stayed up till 4 am, until I could sigh in relief. I imagine this moment so clearly. His mixed expression, the rage of loss and a slight consolation of coming revenge, the smell of blood, the sword that he doesn't even need but brings anyway because he is heavily injured. His breathing is labored and he walks slowly, not as gracefully as a few hours before, but he is still the most dangerous man here with the threatening aura of a devil.
This piece has to be followed by two more at least, to bring me joy. I want to see hope in those dead eyes.
I wish my style wouldn't differ from piece to piece, but I wanted to try something new again. It's nice to come back to the brush I'm used to instead of a default round one. Also, I wanted to see my beloved WKX calm and happy, because I am already preparing something dark. I love him.
Someone wrote this comment on Wattpad and I knew I needed it 👌👌
Everyone is disgusted by them, they both can be shameless and I love it.
First I started drawing this piece only knowing his character fully from the drama. Then, when I finished the novel, had to redraw it a bit, to change his expression. Because novel wkx and drama wkx are slightly different. And I love every moment of each.
I can imagine clearly how after all of this Wenzhou are sitting at a tavern, sipping on some tea slowly, as they hear rumors about odd events happening in the world of martial arts. They give no reaction, then lazily leave the tavern to continue their journey. As they are walking with no rush, after a long silence they exchange phrases like:
-The situation is so clear.
-Of course, the outcome is so obvious, nothing surprising to expect.
…
…
-We can go check if you want to do so much.
-I’m not curious, so only if you want.
And they run in the direction of a freshly coming chaos.
HC that after the battle at the Ghost Valley Wen Kexing stopped wearing red. Because his rage was eased, his loneliness gone, he wasn’t the Ghost Valley Master anymore. So he concentrated on Zhou Zishu and their future. There was no more hate in his life.
I loved them after watching the drama, but the novel just hit me differently, I wasn’t ready, but I’m super glad
Wkx is a piece of art and now his character lives rent free in my heart
Zhang Chengling is a lucky one to survive his shifu’s lessons
The audacity-
I like how Zzs is slightly interested in Wkx at the beginning, but can’t stand him, both because how shameless Wkx is.
The Devil himself being caring and loving is worth the fortune.
