Mitsuru's VA has been arrested in connection with an alleged scam.

He's already been let go by his agency... it's a sad day for Enstars fans and all others who enjoyed his acting.

The investigation is still ongoing, so I will be refraining from personal judgement on the matter and Ikeda's alleged actions, but I am very disappointed by the news in general.

(ADMIN) Earlier today, Happy Elements has announced they will be investigating the arrest of a voice actor belonging to Ensemble Stars. Future responses will be consulted with the relevant authorities.

(ADMIN) Junya Ikeda, voice of Mitsuru, will be replaced following his arrest. His voice will be gradually removed from the app, and songs with his vocals will not appear in tour events. Music videos and live videos which are uploaded to sites such as Youtube will be kept as archives. Songs on streaming services such as Spotify will be replaced gradually as well.

A new voice actor has yet to be announced, but it is important to be kind to whoever succeeds his role. Full article here.

It's been a while.

If you haven't heard, Shining Live JP is ending service on the 26th of December 2023.

It IS however, being ported to switch, in some format at least. Im interested to see how that works. There is also a Shining Live artbook in the works, which I will absolutely be purchasing.

With the recent-ish announcement of the upcoming mobile game including Starish, Quartet Night, and Heavens, I suppose it was only a matter of time. If anything, hopefully this is a sign of more news regarding that project coming up soon.

I don't know if anyone still thinks of me or this account, but if you're seeing this, thank you for sticking around, even despite my inactivity over the last few years of the game's development, I hope at least my old archives of the game are useful to some.

May remove later, but you can find me most active at the moment on twitter if anyone is interested in following me. I'm going different things now, but it's always lovely to see familiar old usernames.

If there are any archival projects underway, feel free to reach out to me and I can provide any old assets I have backed up that may be handy, although most, if not all are already posted here in some format.
