Some Galestorm doodles ft. Crafty and OCs of @fanofanythingsblog and @lil-kat2002

I personally think they're the 'Social Introvert' type, or if you wanna be an intellectual, an Ambivert. They don't exactly have a clear circle of friends aside from Crafty. They desperately need some friends, hell maybe recruit them into a crew since solos suck </3333

Wanna talk about Overdrive? Sure.

Like I've said before, Galestorm's main ability is Aerokinesis; the ability to manipulate wind. Granted as they're more of a 'Support Role', this ability of his is mostly utilized to support allies, such as increasing their speed in battle and granting them flight. They're also able to create shields out of the winds, able to knockback opponents who get too close to the shield, blasting them with razor winds. He makes a good companion for missions where Space Riders have to do exploration. However, just because he plays support doesn't necessarily mean he can't use them to deal damage. Tornadoes, cyclones, and the ability to turn a battlefield into an unstable zone full of deadly winds to give enemies disadvantages.

Once they turn into their Overdrive State, things get a bit more wilder than usual. You thought fighting them with an increased buff in speed was hard? Wait until you find out they turn into a literal Wind Spirit to make your life even difficult. This transcended state allows him to wreak havoc, as he's able to create disasters that have relation to wind; let's say storms, blizzards, and even firenados if they feel like it. They either have the ability to turn into their more humanoid form or a Qilin, the humanoid being in tune with their role as Support, and the Qilin being more of a Damage Dealer type. Enhanced speed, enhanced evasion, and even stronger attacks. He knows what he's doing during a fight, and attempting to knock him down isn't going to be easy.

I'm not able to draw him fully in either forms, but here's a sketch of them. Humanoid and Qilin form respectively.

Who knows, one day I'll draw him in his Home Planet's clothes.

He also needs friends. Like. Now. He can't keep talking to Crafty forever.

Galestorm, The Zephyr of The Celestials

Name: Galestorm

Pronouns: Any (He/Him is commonly used)

Age: Unknown

Height: 6'05”

Species: Qilin

A solo member of the Space Riders piecing together a purpose they had forgotten.

Said to have been found floating around the vast expansion of space unconscious, Galestorm was rescued by a crew and was brought back to base where they were tended to by medics. They are unaware of how they were sent to float aimlessly in the astral skies, nor do they know how long they have remained there, but what they do know is that they come from a different Planet that has been corroded and corrupted by worshippers of the Prototype Cult. From a prospering kingdom to a wasteland with only a few areas offering sanctuary for the survivors who have escaped such a brutal fate, one of the sanctuaries being Galestorm's that had succumbed to the onslaught of the cultists. The Qilin managed to escape with a few survivors left, but ultimately had to sacrifice themselves in order for the survivors to flee— leading to expending all their powers to get rid of these invaders, thus, resulting into drifting into space as the spacecraft leaves the vicinity. And.. well, that's how they got here.

They're.. the quiet type, a bit enigmatic, rarely ever sharing details about themselves. Though that doesn't discourage others from interacting with them and they like to chatter, even if it means having to say a few words to engage the conversation. Don't be fooled by this nature, they're very powerful on their own despite being handicapped from expending their powers. As a Qilin, Galestorm has enhanced attributes that allows them to score an easy win against opponents, however, despite all of this, they would much rather play a 'Support Role' than be a bruiser, using their abilities to enhance and protect their allies, while making use of their Aerokinesis to rid of any foes on the battlefield.

While they may be a solo member, they're very much recruitable! Attempts of recruiting Stormgale are highly encouraged! They like doing their job as Support a lot, and it's a bit sad to see this role as a soloist.
