Last piece for 2022! Featuring my son, Muffin, again! I thought it was fitting to end the year with a cozy looking piece because everyone deserves a break, a rest, a moment to themselves and just relax. Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2022 was kind to you, and I hope 2023 is a good year for all!
I have so many pictures of my son, so may as well draw him right? 😅 for these doodles, I wanted to practice form and efficiency. I haven’t been able to do a lot of studies and practices like these this year, so I feel a bit rusty… but I am hoping to incorporate more of these drawing exercises next year.
I have been wanting to draw a holidays piece featuring the parol. I have yet to go back to the Philippines during the Christmas season, and I can’t believe I haven’t been since 1/3 of the year is dedicated to that holiday! Hopefully someday soon I can go and experience it there as well as celebrate it with my family.
