With the bikini done I felt it was high time to get back into the game itself. Unfortunately I forgot where they girls left off and it seems they're already hitting a wrong note again. Ooopsie doodles. While they sort themselves out I'm off in the world map readjusting things since the proper map tags show up now but some buildings still need to be properly assigned their lot. blah.
Minor adventure in the life of Rebecca Lynn. She wandered outside to investigate a weird sound and light source. Much to her surprise a ship appeared, then brought her up to it while she tried to scream for Roxanne to help. Five hours later she shows back up in a daze with her abductor only thinking that he was a strange man as he sped off on a bike.
The next day was Saturday and with most of the student body having nothing to do most of them gathered around the class project. Roxanne was included on this and the temporary trio worked hard all through the day to get it running. Her fellow classmates didn't want to pull the level, uncertain of what would happen, seeing as someone had labeled it the lever of doom. Thinking it wouldn't do anything Roxanne jerked on the lever only to her surprise and everyone else's it connected their noggins into a hive mind. Hank, for some reason, happened to be nearby and ran to see what was going on. Roxanne insisted they celebrate this breakthrough so the pair went to simburger, flirting kissing the whole way as she ignored the other two minds linked to her own.
Later that day when Roxanne came back down she asked if Rebecca had finished cleaning and she absent mindedly said yes, not really paying attention. Becca merely stayed plopping herself on the front porch to draw while Roxanne went to get more of her own work done. When she returned home her joy from her scientific breakthroughs returned to anger still seeing that the bathroom was an absolute mess. With Rebecca no where in sight she finished the job grumbling the whole time. Once finished she settled into the living room for some studying. Mid way through the study session she took a couple of sniffs and realized cleaning had made her smell a bit unpleasant. Roxanne closed up her book and made her way into the bathroom and just as she was setting up for a shower Rebecca burst in and plonked down on the tub to read. She verbally got torn a new one by Roxanne, having it up "here" with her behavior. She needed to straighten up or she would be kicked out of the house.
After a goodnight sleep from her date yesterday, Roxanne woke up to see the house a complete mess. With a look of silent fury on her face she new Rebecca was at fault for the mess. Once her breakfast was scarfed down she made her way out to her first exam of the day, her roommate working on snoring through hers. The professor wandered around among the students as they all scribbled and worked. Roxanne was given a hard earned A plus for her exam and received the flying colors moodlet. When she got home she got to repairing the sink to stop further water damage to the floor and walls. Once that was finished she went and had a talk with Rebecca. If they were going to stay she needed to pull her weight. She agreed and did some cleaning while Roxanne tended to some more studying for her next exam.
Roxanne was up bright and early the next day. After having some breakfast she was back in her room working out with her skeleton and testing bone structures. When that was done she went to the market to grab a few things. Since she didn't have any refridgerables she decided to spruce up the lot with a masterpiece. Once finished she was rightly pleased with her handy work, though a student had to be a jerkface and had to be harsh about it. Hank happened to be nearby and chased them off and gave Roxanne a little love and plenty of praise. Along with that he gave an offer to a date and got a rather obvious yes.
Another morning another plate of pancakes. Today is to be Roxanne's last day of school for the term. Carlee, apparently a slacker, took more time demolishing snowmen than actually studying for finals. While she got a drink Roxanne was racing out to go get her first exam done. The two hours passing were tense for most but she easily breezed through it thanks to her study habits. As she left she eyed the group science project and decided to through caution to the wind, pulling the lever of doom. Despite her expectant grin nothing really seemed to happen that would bring doom. She shrugged and wandered to the favorite haunt of the study hall. Since her second and last exam was oral she decided to practice on a crowd of zero. She also grabbed a soda so her mouth wouldn't be too dry for the real presentation
Despite Carlee's inappropriateness, Roxanne is still able to put up with her long enough for a conversation. Most of the time they do get along but they still argue here and there.
A new day and boots to get her through the snow. A good breakfast down of fresh pancakes she did some studying to brush up for the day. A look at a clock she noticed she was nearly late and booked it to class. When it let out around noon, Roxanne opted to go get some lunch at the sim burger. Coming back out there was a swarm of sims, some of which were more than eager to talk to her. Nicole, the one in blue, only wanted to berate Roxanne much to her displeasure. Two can be petty on this campus and she was happy to play along to put Nic in her place. Having more important science-y things to do, Roxanne left Nicole to go tend her burns in the snow.
A new outfit for her second and last term for right now.
Roxanne was still willing to share dinner rather than kicking Carlee out to get her own food.
Things seemed to be starting out well at first. They Roxanne and Carlee quickly formed up a study group for a little while and then tended to the bathroom together. The pair even mind melded each other they got along so well. Carlee was even a good sport taking the cinnamon challenge. Unfortunately it seems even one drink is too many for her as she began berating Roxanne. Lucky for Carlee, Roxanne isn't the type to throw punches when insulted.
The roommate that got decided on. Carlee Beauty with a before and after of her looks. The room that's been empty has also finally been set up for her house mate. She seems to approve.
A peek into Roxanne's college life again and to see a bunch of snow on the ground and a level of frost on her floor. She wasn't too happy about it but reluctantly got up anyway. Even the downstairs was chilly leaving her to think that perhaps the heater needed a little fixing along with a microwave for her pancakes. Half way through eating they got cold and nasty on her so she skipped out for the study hall. She didn't have classes today so most of her time was spent there. Some hours later she was hungry since the bit of breakfast she had eaten had already gone right through her. The decision to get a protein bar was quickly regretted though.
Also two pictures of two potential roommates staring each other down. Finally learned how to put up roommates but forgot to set the max number to one.
While at the alley Lara also had a few drinks. They didn't settle well much like her brief tiff with Donovan's new lady. On a spur decision she decided to get away from it all completely and took a vacation.
Lara took the day off to get a few things around home done. Cleaning up the house and debating what to do next she opted to go on a timey adventure into the past. She was also called to a party but found the place to be a little boring so she jumped into her car to go to the alley.
Next day school resumed. After class she did an analysis of a rock to get a sample. By chance the guy from last night ran by and Roxanne managed to get him to stop for a quick chat. Before her next class she and Curie the roach did more irradiating experiments.
