Milestone!

We've met and passed the quarter mark! Simon is off doing cat things, and blissfully unaware of his condition or, more importantly, the ride in the dreaded carrier that is in his future. (He is a fierce boy when it comes to facing the vet.) I will be relieved, though, to actually get a diagnosis and a suggested treatment. Everyone who has shared this GoFundMe or donated even a little has had a big part in making this happen. We still have a ways to go, though. Thank you all!

This silly little baby is Skylar, and she is the love of my life. I have had her for almost three years now, and she is one of the most loving and beautiful creatures I have ever met.

This morning, there was clearly something wrong with her. I can give you the details if you message me, but rest assured it’s not pretty. I have a vet appointment today at 2pm, and I have no idea how much it is going to be. However, just to get in the door costs around $100.00 at my vet. They also mentioned running stool tests, which are going to be even more.

If you’d like something in return (shitty art, writing, promos, etc.) we can work something out. "Go ahead and call the cops- they can’t unrape you”

Imagine being a 13 year old girl who has been raped. By multiple boys. And your rape was filmed and then shared on Facebook, where an audience of thousands of anonymous users watched your personal strife. The next step would be to go to the police – and so you do. And their response? To ask what you were wearing. And then dismiss your rape, saying there’s not enough evidence to proceed.

That’s what happened to a 13 year old young woman who was raped two years ago. 

She was the victim of Roast Busters, a group of boys who secretly filmed themselves gang raping intoxicated underage girls. They then humiliated these women by bragging on Facebook – posting videos and sharing the personal anguish of these women with an audience of thousands. 

The police are saying there’s not enough evidence to convict these Roast Busters, so they won’t charge them. But, it’s now come to light that one of the rapists is, in fact, a local police officer’s son. And that in the past few years 4 victims have gone to the police – and their voices were consistently ignored. 

It’s clear that the police force isn’t doing its part to find justice for these young women. These young women are being dismissed by the official body that is supposed to support those in need – and they have nowhere to turn to because of a lack of proper support services for victims of assault.

That’s why we need our Prime Minister to step up and do the right thing.

The current legal system is too intimidating for victims to come forward - and rapists are being convicted at extremely low rates. And no example of this is greater than these young women who have come forward about Roast Busters – only to be dismissed. Nothing has been done to alleviate the pain and shame these girls feel. 

It’s time to demand justice for these young women. It’s time our Government ensured that protocols, including support services for people who are raped or assaulted, are in place so something like this doesn’t happen again. 

Use your voice to help these young women whose voices are consistently being ignored.

Meet Running Bear. Adorable black blob of cat that’s v playful and likes, you guessed it, running around with his lil pink bear. Or he did. Before the accident. 

Long story short: I’m fucking fuming and Running Bear needs multiple doctors visits and is seeing a neurologist tomorrow and people involved cannot pay for his extensive medical help that he should be receiving

Some fuckwit dickmuffins that had BB guns decided to shoot at this adorable ball of love and put two bullets in his spine. Like, right in it. He has severe nerve damage not to mention a broken foot from where he fell off the tall fucking fence. [these men live in Garden Grove, CA - watch out for your small animals] 

These same idiots shot at my grandmother’s cat, Leo, leaving him with one eye. Not blind in one eye and one working eye, they actually had to remove one eye because it was so damaged and weren’t able to get the bullet out. That happened a couple years ago. Now this.

The medical bills are /super expensive/ and my aunt can’t afford them, not to mention she’s out of the country and we’re taking care of Running Bear for now and we can’t barely afford my medication, not to mention his medical care. He’s snuggled up in my bed right now, doped up and wearing his lil purple cast. Look at this little shit

Guys if we can get him proper help I’ll also post his rehabilitation and healing pictures and hopefully he’ll be able to run again, or at least walk right. His front right paw and back left can barely hold weight but maybe with the right doctors, I can show you guys how adorable he is once he returns to his former glory 

Have the same kind of people in this neighborhood. You'd think the collar would be a deterrent. You need to find out who they are and charge them with animal cruelty and make them pay for your poor little bundle of fluff's bills.
