just read master and apprentice help
Padawan Obi trying very hard to meditate on their evening session, papa Qui-Gon is amused
I have been reading the Jedi Apprentice books and I just wanted to draw them.
I started listening to books about the rise of obi wan and so on, I'm just in shock The first book feels so hopeless, even though you know that in the end everything will be okay and then bad again, but that doesn't matter. the first book is pure glass very offended for the little obi like he was trying his best but they still didn't choose him and then kicked him out a week before his birthday, leaving him alone he spent his whole life in the order and was simply not adapted to life outside of it, he was completely alone and on the first day he was beaten half to death After that, the man who was his last chance to become a Jedi came to him and all he hears from him is that he won't take him. At the same time, he understood that this was killing Obi-Wan, he knew that with his words and fears he was ruining his life, killing him completely. and after it became clear to everyone that he needed Obi-Wan (he saved your life dude and not only yours, even though he wasn't a Padawan!) Even after this, Qui Gon renounces Obi and does so throughout the next book, also finishing off Obi Wan at the end and so on going ahead it was even more painful to read about how Obi was taken into slavery and how despite all this he almost sacrificed himself by exploding the collar on his neck
(justifying Qui Gon it was nice to watch how he worked little by little with Obi and how he panicked and didn't even want to think about Obi Wan's death)
(and yes I know that Obi most likely had a different hairstyle and that he wasn't as physically injured but hey his hairstyle is damn complicated)
(Sorry for the mistakes, I use a translator )
Qui-Gon: We’re not angry, we’re just disappointed.
Obi-Wan: … actually, I’m a little angry, but go on.
That part in the JA books where Obi-wan has a little panic attack about Bant being in danger

(AU where post-banishment Ahsoka gets zapped back to TPM and starts strategising a battle plan against Fate. Link to fic)
“Master Qui-Gon and I spent a year on Mandalore, protecting the duchess from insurgents who had threatened her world. They sent bounty hunters after us. We were always on the run, living hand to mouth, never sure what the next day would bring-“
Well done.
Illustration for Divergences by @legobiwan which still lives rent free in my mind. Kind of an update of this take on the same scene from last year because oh boy it's been a minute :'D
Learning that Obi-Wan was as much a little terror as Anakin as a kid gives me life 😌
Been revisiting star wars audiobooks
Wait, can I come with you?
