So here is Obi-Wan making some toys for little Luke. In the ‘From A Certain Point of View’ book (and the short story ‘Time of Death’) by Cavan Scott, in which I included an excerpt from, Obi-Wan, 3 years into his exile talks about hand crafting small toys of ships, and in this case a Corvette ship, which is what I have him painting in this piece. He would hide the toys he made by Shmi’s grave for Beru to find to give to little Luke. 🥺 I really hope we get a scene like this in the show. It’s a really sweet past time for Obi-Wan to make these little toys, and he was very passionate about it too. It’s another side of him we haven’t really seen before.

Dueltober Day 4 Prompt : Wizards

Okay I’m not very satisfied with this one, but I couldn’t spend any more time on it lol. So my first thought when I saw the prompt was Old Ben. 😅 Obi-Wan is very good with kids, and he obviously didn’t have many chances to use the force during his 20 year exile so here is a soft moment of him with some kiddos, trying to impress them by lifting some rocks and sand with the force. I imagine he could get away with this because if these kids do try spreading the word that they saw some crazy old wizard lifting a bunch of stones & sand, people would probably assume it was their imaginations gone wild, lol.

Here’s another homework assignment of mine LOL. Assignment details below the cut. It’s sooo fun getting away with submitting this in class bahahahajhfjejsj lol(maybe one day it’ll bother my teacher enough tho). But here’s Obi and Cody outmaneuvering a seeker droid!

So uncivilized!

Lol this has been a WIP for *ages* but I decided to finish it up quickly. My idea for this was an AU where Cody joins Obi-Wan on taking little Luke to Tatooine post Order 66. Perhaps on the flight there, Cody let Obi-Wan rest some because lol the day order 66 went down was not an easy day for him. So here he is resting with baby Luke. However, as they approach the planet it’s time for Cody to wake him up, although he does so reluctantly. Poor Obi must have been so exhausted. 🥺

Dueltober Day 7 Prompt - Scar

Posting this late, but I did finish it on the 7th! Lol. Here is Obi inspecting the shoulder wound he got from Dooku during that fight in Attack of the Clones. I wonder if it got treated quickly enough as to form a scar or not… but regardless his skin is undoubtably littered with many other battle scars lol.

“Master and Apprentice: Nighttime Prophecies.”

This is my second illustration for the Master and Apprentice novel. First illustration is here!

This was drawn for the scene where one evening Obi-Wan returns back to his shared quarters after a trip to the Jedi archives to translate some ancient prophecies for Qui-Gon. He didn’t particularly enjoy doing the translations, but knew it was his job to support his masters interests, so he did it without complaint. This totally wasn’t mostly drawn because of the fact that Qui Gon is described as having his hair down in this scene. Nope, lol.

I wish my hair was as beautiful as Qui-Gon’s!

Some headshots I did of Ewan/Obi-Wan after finishing the Kenobi book by John Jackson Miller. I’ve always been awful at reading novels but I blew through this one and I absolutely loved it!!! The author managed to capture Obi-Wan’s mysterious nature, and provide so much insight into his character post Revenge of the Sith. It was a very emotional read lol and I hope to do some illustrations/designs for some scenes in the book in the future.
