Oh yeah! I mean, I add sex in my stories because I’m a horn dog and I like it xD

But off the top of my head, sensory play (which includes tickling), shibari, spanking/impact play, pet play and bondage like you said, tons of dom/sub dynamics, age play, edge play, blood play - a kink that’s a bit too extreme for me personally, admittedly. Praise and degradation also don’t require it, nor does humiliation and the like.

Aside from breeding I can’t really think of one off the top of my head that would require it.

But yeah, a lot of kink can be sex free - and depending on one’s personal definitions of what constitutes sex, you can really ride that line too with toys, mutual masturbation, etc.

I don’t think any problematic thing is inherently bad in terms of tropes/smut, as long as a few rules are followed: (sometimes extreme situations can be therapeutic as long as you’re not subjected to them unwillingly. Consent in reality land is 100% non-negotiable!)

1. You’re keeping reality and fantasy separate in a healthy and clear way.

2. You’re not trying to circumvent laws that are in place to protect people who cannot consent.

3. You tag and mark your works/shares with the needed content warnings so no one is surprised. (Be willing to grow here too, cause times/audiences change!)

Anyway, vote! (Not all of these are going to vibe as problematic, most are fairly common kinks.)
