Quill, Hi! I was visiting the Lake Erie this weekend and between a street festival where there was this vintage booth selling different mermaid and ocean aesthetic lockets and the pirate tourism stuff and the tall ships sailing around the bay, *everything* reminded me of One Siren's Soul and I thought I'd share.
hhhnnnnnnnngggggggg
You know something? I am always, always, CONSTANTLY surprised by the fact that my story has struck such a chord with people that things remind them of it.
That people feel compelled to follow my story in the first place is astoundingly inspiring on its own. But that it’s stuck itself in their minds, that it’s taken your interest enough to have you thinking about it outside of when you’re reading it, that it has people connecting things they experience, aspects of their own life to it?
Honestly, that is one of the most meaningful compliments I think a writer could receive.
Anyways Quill’s gonna go screech for a bit about this, thank. I heckin’ LOVE pirate-themed festivals soo much ahhhh
