just gave myself a massive case of nostalgia by looking through my old ask wishfulshipping blog and cant believe it’s a DECADE OLD!!! idk why i stopped (probably school or irl stuff) but man…….i was so carefree and just having fun…….i miss making silly little comics……

idk but apparently people have issues with amlk as a ship bc they still think pokemon protags HAVE to be 10 and ame is somehow an adult??? that’s bonkers to me

if kieran is 14 and the roughly the same age as sv’s protag how can you not see liko as 12-13 herself… roy being 10 makes sense but liko definitely reads as an early teen 😭 (is into streamers/lives, writes and draws on her tablet, is an overthinker, etc) she reminds me of my middle school self LMAO

as for ame he is definitely being written as someone who wants to mature quickly to catch up to his peers… 14-15 is the perfect age imo bc even the other explorers keep referring to him as young, a boy, and not worth taking seriously (well that’s friede actually)

also how are people surprised the ship is popular when protag x rival ships have been around for years, if anything they remind me most of selene x gladion

anyway im too old for all this ship discourse nonsense but it’s a bit silly to have such misplaced animosity for something that can be boiled down to your typical shoujo manga couple 😅
