Put the Blorbo in a Situation

IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING A POLL REQUEST

Since we’ve been asked this a lot: Blorbo means favorite fictional character / comfort fictional character.

Send any Blorbo-related question you want to our inbox and we’ll make a poll where people can vote and apply their own Blorbos to said poll. Or if you’re interested in “Would the Blorbo Survive” game, you can also send the scenario of your choice to our inbox and we will make a poll asking people if they think their own Blorbos would survive said scenario. — The scenario/situation in question can be anything, as long it isn't connected to any specific real-life event that can be tone deaf or insensitive to some.

The polls we make will be separate polls of their own (which means we won't respond directly to the requests in our inbox). Everything will be anonymous.

Keep in mind that this blog is NOT suitable for minors, and the blog caters heavily to Whump Community (a term where fictional characters are in pain; be it emotional or physical wounds/illnesses), so expect NSFW material, gore and violence to be mentioned in some of our polls.

We, as the owners of this blog, have every right to rephrase, edit, alter any poll however we see fit without notifying the submitter.

EVERYTHING ON THIS BLOG IS ENTIRELY FICTIONAL, MEANT ONLY FOR FICTIONAL CHARACTERS.

*From time to time, we may make a special poll where a Specific Blorbo is mentioned by name in a poll. But since our blog focuses mainly on unspecific Blorbos (meaning followers will have their own Blorbos in minds while voting on most of the polls here), any requests about Specific Blorbos may take longer than normal requests, where the Blorbo's name isn't mentioned or specified, do.

**Most of the posts we reblog on this blog are temporary and deleted within 24 hours. Only polls from submitters remain.

Little announcement from us (PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING IN REQUESTS)

We have decided to shift the focus of our blog from “Would (specific character) survive this specific situation” to “Would your Blorbo survive this specific situation” — meaning the Blorbo won’t be any specific Blorbo but will instead be an unnamed/unknown Blorbo where people can apply their own Blorbos to the given scenarios and vote whether or not they think their own Blorbos would survive these scenarios.

We will still have special posts that ask about specific Blorbos from time to time, but since having specific Blorbos as the sole focus of this blog has been overwhelming for the admins (hundreds of requests about specific characters in our inbox and the fact it’s more difficult/time-consuming to make polls for specific characters than it is to make ones about unspecific characters and let people have their own Blorbos in minds while voting), the blog will shift its focus from focusing on each specific character in each poll to letting people have their own Blorbos in minds while voting.

So here is the new rule:

*If you really want to send requests about your own specific Blorbos, you can still do that, technically. But please keep in mind that requests that mention specific Blorbos may take longer to be posted than requests that don’t mention any Blorbo.

We understand that the original focus of this blog was about specific character per each poll, but since we had to always google photo of each character to add to our polls (so that followers who weren’t familiar with the characters knew what the characters looked like if they wanted to participate in voting), it became too time-consuming and overwhelming when we got hundreds of requests in our inbox. We still hope to be able to post the old requests we got eventually, but that will take time and admins unfortunately can’t spend hours on this blog.

So from now on, we will focus on unspecified characters in our “would they survive” polls instead.

And you can vote whether or not you think your Blorbo would survive these situations!

PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING A REQUEST

The rules are as follow:

1. You send us the character and the fandom they're from. YOU MUST ALSO SEND US THE PHOTOS OF THE CHARACTERS IN QUESTION

2. In the ask, you'll ask us if people think this character will survive in *the situation of your choice.

*the situation of your choice can be anything, it can also be what happen in other movies/shows that the character isn't from (for instance, you can send us a question asking if Dean Winchester from Supernatural would survive the canon event that goes on in The Walking Dead.)

3. We will make a separate poll in response to your question — WITHOUT REVEALING YOUR BLOG, so everything is anonymous, even if you weren’t on anon while sending the question (though if you want to, you absolutely can reply or reblog the poll saying it was your submission) — to let people decide and vote if they think said character will survive.

4. Other forms of questions are also allowed if they follow the theme; for instance, you can give us a list of characters (they may or may not be from the same source material), and ask which of them would die first, which of them would survive in the situation of your choice, etc.

5. They must all be fictional characters in situations that aren't connected to any specific real-life events.
