I saw the Steven Universe movie two weeks ago, and finally had time to finish these fanarts! The movie was AMAZING! I love the soundtrack :D I’m excited for the continuation of the series!

sapphire saying overly dramatic shit like “Such is fate…” when steven tells her she froze the toilet fucking solidifies my hc that sapphire is just that sarcastic dramatic friend that whenever someone’s like “oh hey we’re out of ketchup” she deadpan gazes out the window and is like “So… it has come to This…”

and half the time she actually fools people into thinking that they’ve enabled some HyperDeathFuture by stating a lack of condiments

Made of Love

Snow Day is pure fan service that would never have achieved such peak satisfaction if it wasn’t for years of planning and backstory. Pearl shapeshifting, getting over her trauma? In tears. The fusions who usually only come out when needed now out for fun? Genius move. Ruby and Sapphire joining the game? And then Sapphire straight up murdered Steven? So unexpected but also, of course. A poignant message at the end about growth and accepting growing up? Poignant, classic Steven. All so in character. So much pay off. An absolutely delightful, satisfying episode complete only because of all we’ve seen them been through. Amazing.

are ready to kick your ass

With how SU future’s been going so far, I thought it’d be fitting to reframe this old quote from the movie –> Steven’s mental state/ possible corruption! 

(I’m still working on understanding how heckin’ shadows work so please excuse the lack of proper physics lol
