The Old Guard is still such a big thing in my life, and I'm still here after four years and will continue to be. It saw me through some crazy moments in my life and more to come. Big changes happening for me and I hope to get back into drawing and writing soon for these two blorbos I still love a ridiculous amount. Drew these two in their sequel looks for TopJoe's monthly banner in the hopes that will we see them again SOON! DO YOU HEAR ME NETFLIX?? RELEASE THE FILM!

Here’s a picture I made for TopJoe server’s banner! I just wanted a cute moment of a chaste kiss. 3ish years in and I still am so obsessed with these two. THEYRE SO IN LOVEEEE

This is either what happens when Joe asks Andy and Nicky to pose for a harlequin novel cover he’s painting and isn’t specific about who should wear what or Nicky getting too drunk at the coffee house in London from TTT and doesn’t want to get his dress dirty. The title of the novel would be “The Dread Pirate Scythian and the Virginal Maid.” I imagine.

Done for the @theartguard lottery event where a random pose, characters, and color palette are chosen. Check out everyone’s works! This was a fun challenge, and gave me an opportunity to draw Nicky in his gown from the TTT comic lol.

Seeing The Old Guard on the Big Screen and Gina Prince-Bythewood in Person!

Last Saturday, November 5th, there was an event in Santa Monica, CA, US, where Aero Theatre would be showing The Woman King (2022) and The Old Guard (2020) and hosting a Q&A with director Gina Prince-Bythewood in person. I love these movies, and even though I’d already seen both (The Old Guard many times), I knew I had to go.

Thank you Gina Prince-Bythewood for coming and doing a Q&A and screening of both The Woman King and The Old Guard (first time for ToG to be on the big screen!). You are an amazing director and seeing ToG in a movie theater was such an awesome experience! I fell in love with everything all over again!!! Two years later and I still love ToG so much, been my comfort movie during a tumultuous two years.
