kirk ending the antimaskers 60 years before covid
for years now ive been trying to rationalize the "dig it in there mr spock" scene and i cant and its driving me crazy because there has to be something im missing... from an in-universe AND irl point of view he just.... COULDNT HAVE... the captain of a STARSHIP could not have just assumed that his first officer was giving him a massage in the middle of the bridge with the entire crew watching... and then made the yeoman STOP when he realized it WASNT SPOCK............ AND IN 1966...... ON PUBLIC AMERICAN TELEVISION...................... how ........... like happy pride month to kirk but .........
the only part of star trek that matters to me anymore is this episode where kirk's body is possessed by a woman and nobody questions it because, like, "the captain is busy filing his nails and being dramatic." "ok what else is new"
just watched the star trek ep wink of an eye for the first time and tell me why this lady was like "wheres kirk? oh, he's gone to sickbay to find spock." and then immediately after was like "his species can show such affection.." WHAT... they're not even subtle
on all levels except physical, i am leonard mccoy
me, with a ouiji board: mr roddenberry? yeah, hi, quick question, WHAT was Dig It In There Mr Spock about-
