NORTHERN WRESTLING FEDERATION’S FANFEST 8 FEATURES SEVERAL FIRSTS
The Northern Wrestling Federation is excited to announce the details of this year’s FanFest
event, the 8th annual mega-show, held in Fairfield, Ohio on August 16th at the UAW Hall at
1223 Symmes Road Each year, the NWF wrestlers heat up the summer as they prepare for the
biggest show of the year.! !
FanFest 8 will feature a first time encounter between Ring of Honor’s BJ Whitmer and New
Japan Pro Wrestling’s Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson. Anderson, better known to Cincinnati
fans as Chad Allegra, got his start with the Northern Wrestling Federation before gaining
international notoriety in Japan. Whitmer got his start with a rival promotion across town and
these two have never been across the ring from one another. . . until now.! !
In another first, Big Mama will battle “The Meanest in the Midwest” Hardcore Heather in a
Ladies Street Fight. Also on the card is TNA Wrestling Superstar “The Monster Abyss.” He will
square off with NWF superstars Sean “Virus” Harddrive and Jeremiah from the rEvoLution in a
triple threat match for the Tri-State title. Abyss was the NWF Tri-State champion many years
ago when he competed locally as Prince Justice and now has achieved worldwide fame on
Spike TV’s weekly TNA broadcasts.! !
FanFest 8’s stacked card will also feature a Steel Cage match for the NWF Title, an Ultimate
Ladder Match for the Unified Championship, a Stretcher Match, a Five Count Match, a
Surrender Match, and much more.! !
The day’s event starts at 2:30 PM with activities that allow the fans up close and personal
experiences with the wrestlers including the very popular NWF DunkTank. Fans can also play
corn hole, video games, volleyball with the wrestlers and during the afternoon there will be a tug
of war between the superstars of the NWF. ! !
At 5 PM, the bell will sound and the in ring action will begin with the biggest card in NWF history.! !
