I'm well aware of how ridiculous this sounds, hopefully your recognise me from my way with words.

The cats are on Cara!

Me and Instagram have never hit it off, but our relationship got worse after they decided to feed my art to that gluttonous goat, Anthony Ingelthorpe, commonly known as AI.

(I apologise to anyone - or any goats - called Anthony Ingelthorpe. I made that up on the spur of the moment. And I explained the goat in my post on Cara. I swear there's a reason for its presence.)

This is why I now bestow my attentions to the lady Cara. I've always wanted an online art portfolio, and Cara's portfolio/feed separation suits my chaotic gremlin needs perfectly: I can still waffle about things while maintaining a fine reputation for my creations. Brilliant.

This is the shop of a couple of designers who have made a lot of props for the Harry Potter movies. Well worth a visit!

I woke up and discovered that I can't comment on posts, and my past comments have all been removed. Tumblr basically pressed the 'mute' button on me. I can't see or send messages either.

I've already contacted @support team.

I hope it's just a glitch, but since something similar happened to a friend, I'm mentally preparing for my account to get wrongfully deactivated. That would absolutely suck, but the internet is a savage garden, and there are a lot of bugs, I suppose.

Well, if the worst comes to the worst and all goes wonky, I hope we meet again somewhere in the algorithms!

I'm now using the account @purrlockswatson and I will be reblogging my posts to @purrlockholmesbooksblog to backup!

The vampire Pierce and Victor the Frankenstein Monster. (And their catsonas.)

As of the story I've written so far, they're not in a relationship yet. Victor had been devoted to someone who trapped him in a life where he never felt alive. Pierce tore down Victor's prison and home, and Victor hasn't forgiven him, but I hope that Pierce will be brave enough to reach out to him someday.

(I enjoyed drawing their height difference. Not all vampires are tall, Pierce is around 165 which, like the Blue Caterpillar, I think is a respectable height since it's my height.)

I drew this for day 29: hugs from me and @nalesnik-z-morela 's Inktober prompt list. I'm officially on art break now, I swear I did this a few days ago.

Like Shelock Holmes, I'm going on haitus. (Don't panic, I'm not going to throw a maths professor off a waterfall. I think.)

I don't actually want to take a break, but to quote Hamlet, ay, there's the rub. Creative work is often similar to addiction to me; it's not about the result, it's the process of creation that I want to experience again and again. I realise that I can't focus on any constructive projects because I keep burning myself out on alluring fleeting ideas. So, I'll be taking a step back.

- I'll still be around to menace friends

- Art requests and commissions remain open, but response time will be indefinite.

I'll make a melodramatic return in mid- or late November, but for now, me and the cats are bowing out. Catch you later!

🖤🎃Thank you for a wonderful Inktober!

On one hand, I'm that cat from the blooper reel I posted yesterday.

On the other (much larger) hand, I can't say how thrilled I am to see your art. It's been amazing to see all all of you artists bring your brilliant imaginations and skills. I'm deeply touched, have laughed until I dropped my phone and was somewhat haunted by images in my head some nights. Thank you all for the beautiful virtue of being you!

NOW, as the critters of Wonderland say, prizes!

Phantom Bloopers

Video editing had been the skill that has gotten me paid with the most frequency. I hope that no perspective client sees that this is what I do with it.

Phantom of the Opera animated short in progress! It won't be out till November because I currently am under duress, so for now, have this animated blooper reel. Believe me, I've yelled, 'Aw, Christine!' so many times that day, it's a wonder I didn't summon any ghosts.

Weird, timet-wimey historical fact: When you think of the guillotine, you think of the 1790s, not the 1970s... but actually, the last guillotine execution happened in 1977. So Elvis could have been guillotined.

(Sorry, Elvis fans. I have no personal grudge against The King. It just so happened that he died in 1977. How could I resist.)
