I realized recently I didn’t do a masterlist at all for 2021 - but the 3 things I made can be found here. Also I didn’t do one for 2022 yet, probably because of being exhausted from running the event. After only making 3 things for previous the March this year was a success for sure, even if it was Stoncy heavy because that was the new (to me) ship I got obsessed with.

Caitlin thinks she's cursed with her cold powers and becomes a devotee of the somewhat forgotten God of Speed, seeking his lightning to warm her. He eventually visits her, confused as to why she prays to be normal. He becomes her lover and tries to get her to understand she's special, a demigod like he once was.

Iris is another demigod, descended from a muse, who travels far and wide to find other demigods and inspire them to tell their story. She heard of the priestess who survived countless lightning strikes and seeks out Caitlin, bonding with her as Caitlin opens up about her life. Despite the risk to her from Caitlin's powers, Iris doesn't shy away from their connection and they become involved too, with Caitlin gaining confidence in her abilities as they grow closer.

At first, the God of Speed is wary of Iris, of her influence on Caitlin, and they end up antagonizing each other when they meet. However, they come to realize after spending time together that they both want the same for Caitlin, to understand and believe in herself. And they also can't deny there's plenty of passion between them as well. They discover the three of them work well together, providing support but also pushing them to be better versions of themselves at the same time.

For a costume party, Iris dresses up as Frost, Caitlin as The Flash and Barry as a reporter. Though Barry ends up looking less like Iris and more like Clark Kent, who he has a bit of a crush on, which the others gently tease him about all evening.

DCTV moodboards: Snowestallen - criminals AU

Sort of snowestallen fic rec.... It’s a WIP and not recently updated but there’s 25k of it and it’s an interesting situation, plus a very unique fic with the kink included and consideration of gender issues to go with it. So far it’s just UST and some kink negotiation started (looks like eventual smut is the plan), as well as them trying to deal with the bodyswap changes. Maybe not exactly an OT3 fic but something in that vein and I’ve been enjoying it anyhow - it’s a very thoughtful character introspective focus to go with the tension building up between characters too.

The Flash: 6x02

Barry - “I saw you and Caitlin, I saw everyone die.“

Six sentences from each of the fics I’ve made the most progress on this week.

The Flash, Barry/Caitlin “Third Time’s A Charm ” T ~10k words  (slowburn no powers AU)

“I prefer to think of it as...as...thorough,“ she says, using her finger to emphasise her point. It's kind of cute how determined she was to find him. He wishes it had worked.

It makes him flood with colour at the thought of her putting so much effort into trying to find him. He also feels a little embarassed he'd not put more effort into finding her; his only excuse is he didn't have much to go on. Suddenly he feels sad to think of all the years passed between them where they could have been friends and it's purely bad luck they weren't.

The Flash, Savisnow, “No Quick Fix” ~2.6k (Savitar on Team Flash AU + Caitlin is kidnapped again)

Barry touches her on the shoulder, briefly pausing to ask if she's okay. A quick nod and she already feels the pressure of the ties relieved as he cuts through them with his powers and helps her up out of the chair, her legs weak at first. Stretching her arms finally she goes to take a deep breath and feels it catch in her throat as she glances over to where Savitar is.

He has the already plenty bruised meta held by the throat against the wall. She can't hear what he's saying but the words are said as harshly as his hold, choking the meta. The scene makes her flash back uncomfortably to the memory of Zoom doing the very same to Barry – Savitar knows exactly how that feels.

The Flash, Barry/Iris/Caitlin - Chapter 8, “I Can Only Stare” (soulmate AU, angst)

She says nothing, acutely aware of the power behind the man they face. The man who put Barry here in the courthouse, every aspect of his known life under scrutiny, and they can't prove it; Barry fell right into his trap.

DeVoe smiles then, satisfication evident even though it looks creepy on another man's face and she realizes why. The accidental compliment, the admission of how thoroughly he defeated them at this latest turn. He can read her thoughts. He knows everything she's thinking, everything about her-

"Yes, even that," he says, starting to sound bored with her predictability.
