Need help finding the source of a very specific SG-1 BTS story...

Okay, I wanted to find this my myself but I am having no luck and it's driving me nuts.

I'm looking for a little BTS thing from the wedding scene in 200. I don't know what it's from... @carothepoet has confirmed it's not in the DVD commentaries.

I'm paraphrasing here, but essentially it was some sort of text (interview? con report? I have no idea) that described that RDA was super uncomfortable in that 200 wedding scene. Him and AT were standing next to each other and she said something like "never thought you'd be in this position, right?" and he agreed. There might have been more but I've forgotten.

Anyway...if anyone happens to recognize this story or know where it's from, I'd really appreciate it if you could pass on a link or any other info. At this point it's just driving me crazy that I can't find it but I'm 99% sure I didn't make it up? I mean, it could have been speculation, but I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere and it's not some wild fever dream....thanks in advance for saving my sanity 😂

I’ve definitely read something similar so I’m on the case! In the back of my mind, it was said in an interview/con report with Amanda and might’ve been about the POV wedding photo rather than the 200th ep scene.

Been searching all day and I’m now 85% convinced it was said at a convention. Amanda talked about filming the 200 wedding scene at FedCon and said she and RDA were both nervous - she was trying not to to freak out at him seeing her in her dress before filming the scene. Sounds like the comments you’re looking for @starrybouquet could’ve been said in a similar convention like setting.

... So now to watch endless AT convention panels on YouTube after a day so far spent reading all the interviews. It’s a tough job but someone’s gotta do it! 😉

Not long ago I posted a link to an interview RDA did on the set of 200, he mentioned the wedding scene, but Im not sure if it said any of this....really (I do remember him saying they actually either though of or did film a D/J wedding or that that was thw reason for the shot of just the two of them before the camera changed to show Sam beam in). I'll find it and tag you, maybe it will have something in it you can use.

Omg @purplejellosg1 thank you!! You're the best. 😁 And you're right, I do think that a con report sounds right. I *think* that it was some sort of A/N on a fic? If it is from FedCon then that gives me a time period of fic to check...wow, what a shame, gotta read all that fic 😉

And @writingherhope there are several interview articles that say the Daniel/Jack wedding scene seemed to be RDA fooling around? And I will definitely take a look at that interview.

@writingherhope I’ve read a lot of interviews today that mention the wedding scene and RDA fooling around - there’s an outtake where after the line Daniel makes about “if she doesn’t show up, people will think..” where instead of saying “she’ll show” (or whatever the line is), RDA just looked at MS, then when AT/Sam appears, he takes the bouquet off her and hands it to Daniel/turns to him as though they’re the ones getting married. There’s mention of another line that got cut, too, in case it was deemed offensive, I think, though I’ve read so many interviews today, I couldn’t say which one it was in!

@starrybouquet I’m happy to help - and more than happy going down memory lane with these interviews/con panel videos on YouTube! The FedCon Amanda mentioned freaking out about the dress was FedCon 23 in 2014 as far as I can tell!
