Okay so forgive me for only using Harry here because I’m sure the other boys would probably be the same but it’s just I am so passionate about Harry that I must say this about him.
I just love the fact that I know Harry would be exactly the same person, the same gentleman, the same charmingly polite and funny boy/man he is today even if he wasn’t famous - even if he wasn’t media trained or if he didn’t know that he is an inspiration to others or even if he didn’t know that people around the world constantly decide not to take their own lives because of him and One Direction ( @rosewoodniall I’m thinking about you and your recent post/reblog when I write this). I am confident that he would treat everyone with equal respect and wholehearted kindness and LOVE even if he didn’t have “fans” or "admirers". He would be the same through and through, in every alternate universe to exist. And that’s what makes me truly appreciate him and believe he and Anne are angels on this earth.
And I appreciate this more because I have had the blessing to know and grow up with a guy at school who had the same or a similar personality as Harry and so I know how precious and rare that kind of soul is. This guy would make cheeky jokes and be goofy like Harry (or at least teenage Harry), but still be understanding and empathetic towards everyone, even teachers. He was the most popular guy in elementary school because he was so sweet (and good looking) which makes me like to think that I did get the special chance to grow up with my own Harry Styles.
A quick anecdote to describe the genuine heart of this guy would be when in elementary school he accidentally hit a girl in the head with a ball, playing kickball during recess. As soon as she started to cry, he ran up to her and cried too. He apologized profusely and graciously took her to the nurse. He didn’t laugh like some others. He didn’t simply say “oops” or “my bad” or “sorry”. He treated her with respect.
And it just gives me more insight, more perspective, as to how an angel like Harry Styles could exist and how amazing it is that he is this way.
