13: The Musical movie is out on Netflix and though I'm super excited about getting the chance to finally see what the musical is really about, I also CANNOT bring myself to watch it. The trailer seemed kinda cringey and I just listened to a couple of songs on the soundtrack and it's not my taste. The songs definitely pale in comparison to the OG broadway cast. And I know its tough to find young talent for a movie musical like this. But idk,,, that soundtrack kinda ruins it. Sounds a lil too autotuned and just emotionally flat. But this is a hot take, before the hot take lol. Maybe ill like it? Who knows?
Also happy to see Bad Bad News made the cut. The high note was iffy to me but the riff at the end of it was nice. But If Thats What It Is seems to have not made it and that's crushinggg.
