The scene where Aerith warns Cloud not to fall in love with her reminds me of Lulu telling Tidus not to fall in love with Yuna: “I shouldn’t have to say this, but don’t fall in love with her.”
And Aerith talking about how everyone dies eventually and so you have to make every moment count, reminds me of Luna’s one line to Noctis: “Would that I could join you, but this moment will have to be enough.”
