sensei Midoriya Izuku who has kept up his muscle mass over the years. sure, he's not as strong as he was at 16 when he had One For All, but he's not some weak adult either. (this man dragged fridges through sand at fifteen, mind you!)

so, yeah, he's still a muscular guy at the good age of twenty-five. he's strong and a formidable opponent for his students to train with. it's very common, once they get past that awkward stage, for students to approach Midoriya and ask to spar. he agrees, obviously, with his sole condition of no quirks.

I love how they try to say that as if he wasn’t painfully humbled within the first 10 chapters of the manga. As if he didn’t keep failing over and over again in his eyes until he finally accepted that the strength that deku had but he himself lacked was the key to his success. As if he didn’t fail his provisional license exam. As if he didn’t get FUCKING KIDNAPPED. AS IF HE DIDNT GET STABBED AND ALMOST DIED TRYING TO PROTECT DEKU. AS IF HE DIDNT LITERALLY DIE IN HIS HONOR. AS IF—

I know where it's coming from. I can understand that. People seeing Bakugo acting so unbothered, confident, saying cool stuff. It may appear that this is who he is. But in reality he cares a lot, he's insecure, he feels guilty of his past actions, and for fuck sake he's still a child. You may forgot that bc his persona is always there in front of us to overshadow his real feelings. They oversexualise him, make him alpha/dom and all this stuff quite often just because they didn't try to look through his persona. They don't care. And they make him unhuman in their fanwork. An hostage of given him archetype. In other words, people mischaracterizing him. I get that, he's quite a complex character. And they don't pay attention to that he cried a lot through the manga, that he really obsessed with Izuku no matter what he says otherwise, that he's intelligent and analytical, that he's paying attention, that he's disciplined, that he's a nerd as well, that he did mistakes and it hurts him too. For people it's easier to see him just as an angry disaster with no morals. Even though he uses his anger as defence. After his anger is gone, there goes tears. He's a really emotional boy and I'm tired of people mistreating him.

He's not just a tsundere in summary. He's far beyond his archetype.
