i can't stop watching this
the beauty of skyrim's unmarked locations is that you can stroll up to like, a bear cave and after you kill the bear you just like find a corpse called like, bjorn bear-exploder and you loot him and you find an unique weapon like. the bear exploder sword that has a 10% chance of exploding bears and is completely dick useless. and then you just move on with your life.
barely hyperbole by the way
big fan of the skyrim quest in morthal where you have to kill a vampire who wants to take over the town and a bunch of townspeople march over there with you, but then immediately realize that Wait That's A Cave Full Of Vampires and go home, leaving you to kill all of the vampires by yourself
you don't adopt khash, khash adopts YOU.
I replayed Skyrim.
I never cared about any companions who’s not Marcurio, but that time i found new best man ever/ x)
Traditional art isn’t my best part, алсо его зашакалило пиздец.
was watching someone steal frost from the black briars in skyrim, and she goes to deliver it to the guy, but decides to kill him for the horse instead, so she's like "you know, if i kill you, i could keep the horse" and the guy goes "oh yeah? let's see what you've got!" and then instead of trying to fight her like i remember him doing, he just starts booking it. and i'm just losing my mind. that's so fucking funny. sometimes skyrim is a comedy and it's often on accident and it's so funny.
it turns out it's because a bunch of wolves started attacking at the end of his last sentence, so his aggro didn't trigger. or at least i think it is.
oc: Falkynd, Falrielle
was asked for some family history for oc and come up with this
i'm also working simultaneously on mods that add the outfits seen in my screenshots to the NPCs (via Skypatcher, it is freakin magic), so truely living my dress up doll life rn.
i am addicted to customizing clothes u guys, even the most minor NPCs' wardrobes aren't safe
i just want to say, weight painting makes me wanna bite, so have a WIP of an impoverished Windhelm Dunmer fit from Outfit Studio. I'm just trying to make the Ghosts of the Tribunal common robes into some I like better for average NPCs, I guess
Up close of new dram brooch based on this:
I think it'd be funny but also suck really bad if the dragon souls that the last dragonborn absorbs are like. Still present and can speak in ldb's head like a fucking Twitch Chat.
Even if it was just the named dragons and Miraak it'd be hectic but it could also be funny to have these fuckers providing commentary and shit for everything the ldb does.
The ldb when the dragons laugh at them for getting their shit rocked by Karstaag:
my dragon claw arrived yay
Some urns for Roscrea! You know, those things in draugr infested holes you get 15g and a potion of minor stamina from...
The designs are based on the various cults of the island, who's animal gods the more lore-savvy among you might recognize, as their ancestors feature on the murals of Skyrim's barrows... Shapes and materials were chosen to match each god's sphere, as well as to make a cool looking, varied collection when all the urns are put together.
This is my second claim for Roscrea's "Get It Done" week, an event where devs from all around join as guests to help a team put out as much work as possible for a short time period. Was really cool to work on a team who's lore is foreign to me, and I was blessed with a lot of trust from their directors!
I've decided to include my many sketches for each in this post. Concept art is build upon layers of iteration, which often gets forgotten on behalf of the shiny final product. Also, it's cool to see the evolution of a design, from the first shots in the dark to getting closer and closer to its final form...
Clemdiddly has been killing it with some really cool mods that add some Vanilla-adjacent variety to various faction clothes. They put a lot of thought into them!
It’s Inigo holding his second best friend! Because you’re his first best friend ;D MuraCasardis on twitter commissioned me to paint my favorite Skyrim mod, can’t express how happy I was haha
I can relate to this on every level
“postmortem decay set in SERIOUSLY quickly”
Incorrect. Why paleontologists absolutely *should* play video games, and share their findings on social media. Same goes for the forensics person who reconstructed a living face of an ancient Atmoran based on the skulls found in the Nordic ruins. A+ content.
This is what the College of Winterhold should be working on instead of poking at glowing blue balls in the classroom.
Something that always bothered me about Elder Scrolls games is the lack of more than one generation of immigrants.
Sure, you have racial diversity: you get a family of Redguards in Skyrim or Argonians in the Imperial City, etc, but they're almost always the first ones of their family to have moved there. No one is the grandkid of the person who moved there. No one is like, yeah, I'm a Kajiit but my family has lived in Morrowind for 5 generations. Even in the beginning of Skyrim, Hadvar tells you your remains will be sent back to your homeland once you've chosen your race.
How do you know that's where I live?? Hm???? Maybe I've lived in Anvil all my life. You don't know. Racist.
I just want more realistic lives.
