have you ever wondered what c2c crochet with 21 balls of yarn in 13 different colours looks like?

i recognise the answer to this question is "of course not that would be an extremely specific thing to wonder about you weirdo" but i don't care i'm going to show you anyway

i simply do not hunt down the right colours in the same yarn because no one yarn company/range will have everything if your project contains twenty six colours

Stained glass window Afghan with the border is now finished!

Sooo, I recently had this reblog to grace my dash with an awesome crochet 'stained glass square' by Cookie Snob Crochet.

The square was still floating through my daydreams when the dock turtles (yellow belly slider terrapins) arrived for their afternoon snack.

I really couldn't NOT do the crochet, right? I mean, just crochet the stained glass circle part and then cap it for a shallow bowl shape.

My Tiffany's feets were fashioned after the 'baby sea turtle' by Whistle and Ivy. I think they worked perfectly for this project.

Tiff's belly was made flat and stitched with a wide hem on her front side to better display her signature 'yellow belly'. 🐢

Btw don't believe any Etsy ad or things trying to sell this pattern to you. It's been free since the 90s. It's very simple, just double crochet and color changes. Be sure to weave in ends as you go unlike me

Also I’ve found that the nebulous cloud of unease abates if thanked for giving me vigilance and a signal that it’s time to stop and to go “Okay, what am I actually uneasy about, and what can I actually do about it?”, if that helps?
