Shout out to the girls for putting the kink back in pride the Grand Festival
I thought about trying to draw a bunch of gay ships I liked for Pride month, but all I had the energy to draw was Harvest Goddess/Witch Princess (Harvest Moon, specifically their DS Cute iterations), and Pearl/Marina (Splatoon).
🦑The Monthly Patreon Update!🦑
It's the first public monthly reflection post of the year over on my Patreon!
Since I finally completed that Splatoon zine, I have a lot to say about it! I have some WIP shots of the cover and back cover, as well as some insights into what I took inspiration from!
🐙You can read all about it over here!🐙
I'm not the best at reminding folks I have an etsy, but I'm on my last 2 Off the Hook stickers, and I'd love to get the Splat merch I have Very Low Quantities of out of here. If you have any interest in either the OTH sticker or the coloring poster, now's your last chance to grab one!
If that's too much pressure, I have plenty of Deep Cut stickers that I'd love to make more of a dent in! I'm still very happy with how the sparkles turned out on this one.
Hey there Cephalopods! I’m offering a Splatoon themed charity postcard until July 11th!
Donate a minimum of $15 to the Hope Clinic For Women, forward the donation confirmation email to the email listed above, & I’ll send a postcard your way! All links and details are written on the image in the 3rd photo of the photoset!
A thing I was curious about when the Yetee shirts were accepted was if there was going to be a significant lead with one design over another. It was remarkably close the whole time, but Pearl's design had a slight lead in the end!
If you want to keep focus on the shirts, then keep the other elements in your outfit on the simple side! Weather you want those elements to be muted colors, or if you want those elements to all be a complimentary color to the shirt is entirely up to you!
You have just little over an hour left to grab these shirts! If you would like to get them from the Yetee, you better grab them now! You can find them for sale here!
Howdy folks! My first tshirt designs are now up for sale on The Yetee! For the next 24 hours you can buy either a tshirt, a sweatshirt, or a hoodie featuring these divine divas!
If you’re like me & like to have some outfit ideas in mind before buying any new clothes, I’ve gotchu! I’ve hired the finest Inkling and Octoling fashion models to showcase some outfits built around these very shirts! Keep an eye out!!
I made a piece for the Frost Bytes zine! It’s a Splatoon 2 zine, specifically centered around Pearl and Marina’s relationship with a winter theme to it! I wanted to showcase a less mainstream winter holiday (in the US at least), and I thought St. Lucia would be fun!
Culture wise, the idea of St. Lucia as a beacon of light in the darkest day of winter would be more relevant to the underground Octarian society who have no natural lighting, but seeing Pearl’s iteration of St. Lucia seemed like it was going to be a lot more fun to draw.
The zine has a lot of lovely contributions and a lot of love poured into it! I hope you give it a look!
Hey, you know that online store that sells those rad daily tshirts featuring all kinds of great artwork from all kinds of games, anime and the like? You know, The Yetee? Maybe you should give that site a visit on, oh, let’s say January 26th. Why? NO reason, no reason....
I was at Emerald City Comic Con for the first time this year! It was tiring, but I met a lot of lovely folks, learnt a lot about tabling, and got to visit Seattle for the first time!
Here’s some sticker designs I made for the con...The last 2 I made because I thought I would have something Super Ghost Girl related, but I opted out of making them when SGG plans fell through.
While the fanart stickers were by far my best sellers, I think I should have went and made the SGG stickers anyhow! Folks seemed super receptive to the SGG art on my business card, and folks are more willing then you’d think to buy stuff they don’t recognize, as long as they think the art looks cool.
God man I haven’t been able to stop thinking about those new Stevie U’s
So a while ago I was thinking upon those coloring posters that came in the summer edition of American Girl magazine that I spent the whole summer trying to color it in. I thought it would be fun to try to make a coloring poster of my own, & I thought about another piece of media that makes me feel like a kid: Splatoon! Splatfests especially evoke a strong sense of being a kid at a party to me.
I had a lot of ideas for this poster: folks could customize the splatfest taking place in the poster, create the content in the posters the crowd was holding, and I could offer a free online version for folks to print out and color at home, while I offering a larger poster for sale, one side being the coloring page, the other being an actual poster.
Unfortunately, I goofed on the sizing end of things, mainly that this poster would only really work at it’s original large size; a lot of details became harder to color in when I printed it out at 8.5x11.
That sizing issue is why I ultimately put this project aside. I told myself that I could at least color it digitally before posting it online, but I haven’t touched it in months as a result. I’m still pretty proud of all the effort I put into this poster however, and I’ve been working on stuff I can’t show right now, so I figured I’d share this!
“Oh no, these aren’t my kids, no”
A lot of you really liked my Steven Universe piece!!! Thank you!!!!!
Here’s the full, non-textured versions of the photos in the piece!
If the gems have a painted portrait of themselves lying around in Amethyst’s room, surely they’ve occasionally stepped out of isolation to get their photos taken over the years...
