i don’t currently see cole biting any of the ninja but that could definitely change in the future!

i especially don’t think he’d bite wu BUT the creation powers as an antidote or at least part of one,,, :3 definitely an idea

like i said in an earlier ask, where this takes place in the timeline is COMPLETELY up to interpretation!! but between dotd and hands of time has a lot of great possibilities and i think it’s a great time to possibly put it! your mention of cole slowly losing his sense of grief as his body and mind shut down more and more hurts me so much OUGHH but also consider if put between dotd and hands of time. he JUST got himself back he’s just come back from not being a ghost ( which we know was very hard for him to deal with ) how is he gonna deal with immediately losing his ‘humanity’ and life again. once he realizes something is happening to him and that whatever it is isn’t good and is, on fact, killing him,,,, ough

if shroomie cole struggles with not biting his fam... idk i just imagine zane coming up to jay all "hey can you fix this" and his arm is just. covered in bite marks. because cole did eat metal that one time in skybound. and zane has a strong habit of self-sacrificing for the sake of others, i.e. putting his arm in cole's face to chew on instead of something with more flesh

maybe once or twice but i don’t think zane would do this casually. but maybe if cole went after someone and there was nothing casually on hand!! definitely an OUGHHHH 💔 scenario tho

it does make me think of some angsty possibilities!! especially if cole has a larger loss of control at some point

given that regular cole can already eat metal no problems (see: him eating the tools hidden in the cake in skybound and describing it afterwards as "crunchy") i'm not sure a leather arm guard would last that long against shroomie cole chewin on it. might have a nice texture while it lasts tho!

truly it fr depends on the day hahaha some days it stays untouched and others it mysteriously disappears for sure
