Anyway what I find most interesting about Spinel is that her form is changed.
Which means either two things:
1. You can change your form from emotional damage. (Which seems less likely but an interesting thought)
2. Self harm. You only change your form when you’re physically damaged. So far as the evidence shows.
Did she hurt herself during her breakdown?

Maybe she was rampaging and hurt herself. Ie destroying the garden and a pillar fell or something.

I don't think the Crystal Gems are romantically involved with one another at all and don't ship any of them, except in the way that Garnet and Pearl are kind of like DadMom and MomMom to Steven and I think it's funny and cute and implied a lot but not legit romantically involved just in more parent roles than Amethyst. Rose and Pearl from what we've heard just seemed more like she respected and looked up to Rose a lot though so idk? I haven't seen yet if that's something that happens?
I can't say the show hasn't tried to make me get into Gem shipping though.
