Reshirement AU where kingsfoil starts popping up all over Bagshot Row, most especially around the top of the Hill and in Bag End's front garden, but Mister Bilbo only ever waves Holman off when he offers to pull it up, unless it's threatening to throttle the tomatoes or something (Mister Oakenshield just smiles around his pipe and makes vague apologetic noises when he asks about it)

i’m ngl, i’m not usually one for podfic. i tend to focus too hard on the narrator’s voice so that it ends up drowning the characters out 80% of the time. i kept waiting for it to happen while i listened to this one, too, but it never did; liannabob’s handling of these characters is so fantastic, right down to accents and cadences. pair that with the amazing source fic (courtesy of Margo_Kim), and, well. this one’s a keeper.
