“Medieval peasants couldn’t handle my Spotify playlist” but could YOU handle a medieval bard relaying the epic of Beowulf over the course of an hour? Humble yourself.

Beowulf came to the aid of Hrothgar the Dane by killing a monster AND the monster’s mother. Moving right along,

a fun exercise for today
@edgar-allan-possum this seems up your alley.
I finally took the time to photograph my vintage dip pen nib collection, and I need to share with you all how wonderful and diverse their designs are.
These two are my favorite. Just look at them! One of them is named Gorille and the other Mephisto, but to me they're little pumpkins.
And of course you gotta love the Pinocchio nib. You get to write with the nose of a tiny guy! Just not something you get to do anymore.
Chucklefuck

Hounds of Tindalos that tried to come through a flat spot instead of a corner and got stuck.
I am 100% certain, having worked a job where the manager is very present, that the whole cast and crew is THRILLED that Iäna is smitten by Thara Celehar. Not that I think the cast and crew don't like Iäna, I'm sure they do, he's brilliant, creative, hardworking, and fairly understanding of their needs and the theater, but he's also a perfectionist, demanding, and a micromanager from all appearances.
Then, suddenly, this wet dog of a man shows up for a murder investigation, and most of them probably aren't overly worried since they didn't do anything (blackmail victims aside), but their boss is spending the minutes before, during, and after performances talking to this guy. Taking field trips with him in fact. Promising him use of his personal box ANY TIME which is a bonkers thing to offer a person you've just met. He could have easily even said, for the duration of the investigation, but NOOOO it's an indefinite offer and he's actually sad when Thara doesn't take him up on it more often.
Whenever Thara shows up, even in the middle of rehearsals, if Iäna can get away, he does! And it might just be that he's not fighting with whats her face anymore but he seems more laid back. He steps back to let his people do their thing so he can not so sneakily flirt with Thara.
PLUS, this is backed up by the fact that after like the first time, Thara is literally never stopped. He's a pretty observant person, but Thara never says that it's always the same people at the front, in fact by the way he doesn't say it, it implies that either they're different people, or Thara is so focused on Iana that he hasn't noticed. WHICH MEANS that the cast and crew immediately gossiped about who and what this prelate was, and his effect on Iana, and made sure that none of the front of house people would ever stop or slow him down.
The whole theater ships them I'm positive of it, if not for love of their boss and the inherent drama of it, then at least because it makes their lives easier.
