Currently thinking about how for most of trimax Vash’s only will to live was saving humanity from Knives. But what Vash said “I wanted to spend my tomorrows with him” about Wolfwood, he had another reason. Not only did he want a life past saving humanity, but he wanted Wolfwood to be there. Wolfwood was a new reason to live.

Why did nobody inform me that Nightow drew Tristamp and Trimax Vash?? Together in one image??
currently losing it over Wolfwood's gun, like you know that thing takes FOREVER to put away, it has more belts than a kingdom hearts character. and the wrapping is just. a piece of fabric?? Like he's the guy who always has to tie his shoes but like nine times worse. Everyone stop, hold up, Wolfwood has to put his gun away, he's gotta wrap it up like a baby and fasten all 21 buckles, oh wait he lost one hey has anyone seen a strap hey check that dune like come ON I'm getting tired just THINKING about this. WOLFWOOD. ZIPPERS EXIST.

Summary: Before the Gate can incinerate Nai, Vash saves his life. For a price, and for good.
-
You never read it to the end. Did you, Nai?
The higher that they fly, the more and more Vash is the only sound that Nai hears.
Air thins into scraps, but this means nothing to him. He is indebted to neither food nor water. He can tally the number of breaths he has taken that have actually served him any purpose. As they shuttle towards the empty expanse of space, the sounds of the furiously howling gate muffles, even when he can feel its force thrashing within the cube in Vash’s hand.
Only Vash’s voice pierces through the stilling space and his rushing mind.
“Nai!” he is screaming. “Let go!”
