Magneto is getting an ongoing in April. by Cullen Bunn & Gabriel Hernandez Walta. Surprised to see him getting a regular series, but it sounds like ti could have potential.
I am interested in seeing how his relationship with SHIELD evolves in this, and the new version of the Acolytes. In fact, they are probably the thing I am most looking forward to. Who are they, and how do they interpret the man?
Magneto was once the face of the militarist mutant front, but was not successful in bringing about his world view during mutantkind’s first run. Time had passed him by.
Now mutants have a new Genesis. They will need new leaders, and people to bring forth ideas that drive them into the future. Can he regain his relevance, or will he need to find a new way to contribute to the future of his people?
