Arte alucinante

I'm here already delighting over this very life-like low-relief sculpture, when she gets the paint out, and I rather loudly exclaimed "holy shit!"

is that fucking bronze made to look like the most comfortable sheet in the world like silky smooth chocolate just pouring over you holy shit it’s amazing and I want to touch it but I know if I do I’ll just be disappointed that it’s metal and not sweet egyptian cotton

This piece is one of my favorites in the entire museum; ‘Dream Cloud’ is carved from one piece of boulder opal mined in Australia.  It’s an impressive piece, large enough to fill the palm of your hand.
