So it appears that Autodesk did a thing.

this is my favorite art program. it’s *much* more intuitive than photoshop/gimp or corel paintshop, but it still has the full functionality of a digital art program (layers, brush stabilizer, etc.). it’s not overwhelming to start on like practically every other decent art program I’ve tried, you can just pick a brush and start drawing as if it were paper if you want. plus you can download extra brushes for free! and they publish free art tutorials pretty regularly

It’s the reason it’s so acrobatic and requires the use of your legs more than anything. It would help slaves fight when they tried to escape and Capoira was created specifically so they could:

a.) Pass it off as a dance with the slave masters unaware of it being a fighting style.

b.) Be able to fight even with their hands shackled.

It’s has a super neat history!

The only reason why we don’t live in a solarpunk world right now is because no one has bothered to make it yet.

Donate to One Acre Fund, which provides training and capital to farmers (making them more productive and pulling them out of poverty) in various east African countries
Donate to Bridges to Prosperity, which provides technical expertise, money, and volunteers, to help local people build and maintain their own footbridges in extremely isolated rural areas
