Pro-Choice Character Of The Day

Igneous from songs of war is pro choice! He just genuinely does not want your bodily autonomy taken away.

Magnus Bane from Shadowhunters is 100% pro-choice. He experimented his bodily autonomy being taken away from him when his mind was trapped inside Valentine's body and it was a deeply traumatic experience for him, that he wouldn't wish on anybody.

Also it is almost certain that he helped terminate pregnancies as some point in his life, as he was already alive when abortions weren't allowed and he is much too compassionate to let anyone having their choices being taken away from them. And he loves kids and wants the best for them, which isn't someone who was forced to stay pregnant against their will.

Wade Welles from Sliders is proudly pro-choice! Warning: spoilers ahead. Wade was kept in a Kromagg science experiment for months. Her body was used against her will and she doesn't wish it on anybody.

The two dogs from the "dog of wisdom" video are pro-choice! They know that even if someone gets pregnant from consensual sex, consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy. Consent is explicit and ongoing, and It can be revoked at any time for any reason!

Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony is pro choice. She was forced to adopt Spike when she was a filly and knows how hard it is to look after a baby, and while she loves Spike, she wouldn't wish that situation on anyone else.

Rory Williams from Doctor Who is pro-choice and a kind, reliable person! He spent nearly 2000 years as the Centurion, in a body that wasn't his. He doesn't have any regrets yet he believes everyone should have a choice. Also, as a nurse, he really cares for people and he doesn't want them to suffer.

Dovewing from Warriors is Pro-Choice! Dovewing was born with powers and was apart of a prophecy, making her destined to defeat the Dark Forest. However, she didn’t like having her powers and wanted to be a regular warrior herself, causing her relationships with others to struggle. She wouldn’t ever want anyone else to be forced into a role they didn’t want. She believes everyone should be able to choose their decisions in life.

Genji Shimada from Overwatch is pro choice! From his experiences in the clan he knows what it's like to be in a family that doesn't want him there, and would never wish that upon any child. He also had to have extensive reconstructive surgeries to regain basic autonomy of his body, and so knows what it's like to feel helpless and afraid.

All the Elves from Tolkien's works are pro choice. Canonically, they can almost always choose when to conceive because of the way their body and soul is connected and bodily autonomy is extremely important to them. Some of the worst crimes in Tolkien's books involve forced pregnancy and childbirth of the first elves when they were captured. They view having children as something sacred but only to be undertaken during times of safety and view violations of body or soul to be of the utmost evil.

Eri from My Hero Academia would be entirely pro-choice. She's(Potential spoilers) had her bodily autonomy violated when she had parts of her made into weapons. And she doesn't want anybody to suffer as she did.

Nancy Wheeler from "stranger things" is pro choice because she knows that her mother had her young and wants to actually want a child so they won't up in the same situation!

Cisco Ramon/Vibe from “The Flash” is pro-choice and a smart, wonderful person! Warning: season 5 spoilers. When his team finds a cure for meta-humans, Cisco insists that no one will take it unwillingly because making such a huge change to your own body should always be a choice. He respects people and he truly believes in bodily autonomy.

Esmeralda from "the hunchback of notre dame" is 100% pro-choice! She knows how horrifing is to have someone to try and force you to do anything because they feel entitled to your body and she will hate anybody who does that to others, specially in such an important choice like pregnancy and parenthood!

Jean-Pierre Polnareff from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is pro-choice! After singlehandedly raising his little sister from a young age - even if he would give anything to have her alive again - he understands how difficult childrearing can be and wouldn't want that responsibility forced onto anyone. He also understands what it's like to grow up without parents, so he'd believe the less unwanted children in orphanages the better. Since his lifestyle is dangerous for kids, he chose to remain childfree later too, and believes that's a choice every one should be free to make.

(hope this is ok. I'm feeling really spiteful atm cuz he's my #1 comfort character and seeing him on the "pro-life" version of this kinda blog made me angry lol.)

Donald Duck from Disney is pro-choice! Donald is a surrogate father for his nephews. It's not always easy as the kids are very rowdy, his own uncle doesn't help and poor Donald seems to attract bad luck! He truly loves the triplets yet he doesn't wish forced parenthood on anybody.
