(Not So) Temporary - Part 1
Summary: Sam, on a solo hunt, gets injured. He wakes up in a motel room, and Casey is at his side. Taking care of Sam while he healed was supposed to be a temporary arrangement. But when it’s time to go their separate ways, neither of them are quite ready to say goodbye. (set around Season 14)
Warnings: fluff, unashamed appreciation of Sam’s body, shameless flirting, language, happy/flirty Sam, hurt/comfort.
A/N: I had the shower scene in my head for a long time. I wrote it down and the rest sprang up around it. I needed some happy, flirty Sam in my life. I apologize for nothing. I’m not a doctor, I have no medical knowledge. Just go with it.
Notes: Images found on Instagram and google. @talesmaniac89 made the Samulet divider.
Characters: Sam Winchester, OFC (Casey), Dean Winchester, Other OC’s.
Pairing: Sam Winchester x OFC (Casey).
Part 1
Sam’s mind was clouded. It had driven into a wall of fog, it wasn’t solid but he couldn’t see beyond it, no matter how much he willed himself to try. The lids of his closed eyes were weighted. He desperately wanted to open them, needed to. If he could just open his eyes, to assess his surroundings, and to get a grasp of whatever danger he may be in, but his eyes refused to open.
His body was heavy, a dead weight that he couldn’t lift. He felt like there was a thousand pound weight sitting on his chest, pinning him flat to the mattress he felt beneath him. He needed to move. He had no idea where he was, or how he’d gotten there.
The sheets stuck to his sweat soaked skin and he wanted so badly to push the rough, cotton sheet away, to stop it from chafing his flesh. But his arms seemed to bear the similar weight on his chest, and although his brain sent the signal, his limbs were uncooperative.
The fleeting effort to try and raise his arm made him involuntarily groan. He felt his seemingly steel laden arm twitch, but the limb may as well have belonged to someone else for all the good it did.
